A recent septic tank and soakaway job at Lamancha, West Linton where the septic tank and soakaway was no longer working properly.
After exposing the top of the tank, believe it or not, whoever put the tank in originally, just used corrugated tin sheets to support all the soil above and over the years they rusted away and recently partially collapsed, resulting in the outlet pipe to the soakaway being blocked up.
We installed two heavy duty steel plates with holes cut for vents and new lid, and dug a new and longer soakaway.
